The government of Kenya is investigating legal and policy frameworks to incentivise e-mobility in the country. This would include tax incentives to motorists and other investors. Meanwhile Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo DRC want to set up special economic zones for electric vehicle manufacturing.
