South Africa to Create a Climate Change Response Fund

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa recently announced the creation of a climate change response fund. The announcement of the fund is part of South Africa’s larger climate change strategy and will mobilise resources from the government and private sector. The fund will cover resilience building, climate-proofing existing essential infrastructure, adaptation measures and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
