Republic of Congo submits revised NDC, aims to be 48% net carbon sink by 2035

The Republic of Congo submitted its revised NDC 3.0 to the UNFCCC. The latest submissions commits the country to improve its capacity as a net carbon sink by 47.8% by 2035, reflecting its conditional and unconditional targets combined. The revised NDC also includes cross-cutting aspects such as Gender, Social Inclusion, Youth/Children, Indigenous Peoples, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Just Transition, and Loss and Damage responses.
