Following several rounds of consultations with UN member states, the #ICJO4Climate Core Group members uploaded the draft resolution to the UN portal and are seeking co-sponsors. As reported previously, any opinion by the ICJ on this issue would be highly precedential for loss and damage negotiations and for legal liability proceedings more broadly.
