The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has selected Kenya and Ivory Coast to host GCF subregional offices in Africa. The announcement came after the Fund’s 44th Board Meeting. The office in Nairobi will serve East and Southern Africa, and the office in Abidjan will serve Central, North and West Africa. Additionally, the Fund approved its first-ever single-country investments in Chad, Jamaica and The Bahamas.
